Travel along the Allyn River Road from East Gresford, through the valley to Eccleston and the Upper Allyn and you'll come to Lister Timber Mill Village.
In the saw milling days, the Allyn River Road ran between the houses which were built about 1943.
Since the closure of the mill on the 23rd December, 1970, the road veers around behind the houses on the western boundary.
