Taking a trip back to the old home town and I always look for this church steeple in the distance to know I am close. It sets high on a hill in Stanton, IA and at night the steeple is lighted. I've never been inside but would like to one day. It is a small and Swedish town that is known locally as "The Little White City" as all the houses are painted white. There are two water towers that are shaped like a coffee pot and a coffee cup since Mrs. Olson from the Folgers commercials, Virginia Christine, grew up here.
