The water has been very clear lately and I have been watching the fish below. It appears that these fish have made a hollowed nest down grasses of the pond. A few days ago you could see fish backing down into the silt and there would be two of them in the nest. Today it looks as if there is only guard duty as any fish coming close to the nest is immediately chased off. Looking close and you can see three fish guarding the nest.
