![]() DSC03580.jpg He was making his way around the edge of the open water where all the geese and ducks were. Thought maybe he was hunting but he never paid them any mind.
|
![]() DSC03609.jpg He was moving at high speed when he passed in front of me. His feet were hardly touching the ice. The only notice I had that he was coming were the geese flying up so I was pretty happy with this.

![]() DSC03636.jpg Fifteen minutes after I spotted the Red Fox he took his leaving run right in front of me. He had disappeared to my left and I thought he was roaming the hills. Then all of a sudden the geese took a short flight and he came running by and was gone.

![]() DSC03508.jpg This is my first spotting of the Red Fox. From here it just got better. Another Red Fox showed up but kept it's distance and this guy roamed all over giving me several opportunities to capture him real close. He hung around for about 15 minutes.

![]() DSC03606.jpg New Year day 2018 and -1 but I decided to go to my favorite photo site, Heron Heaven. I started of the new year in great fashion as there were two red foxes out . This guy came up fairly close to me but was close to the bank and I couldn't him very well. Then he appeared to be head back around the pond and I lost site of him. While watching the other fox all of a sudden the flock of Canada Geese took off here came the fox on the run. I was in the bird blind and passed within 10 feet of me. Great 2015! Not the best photo but he was here and gone in no time.

![]() _DSC5229.jpg It is always great to see nature out and about. It is even greater when you spot some of the more elusive creatures of nature.
|
![]() _DSC5125.jpg Canada Geese are loud and it didn't take them long to wake up Mr. Fox.
|
![]() _DSC5089.jpg It was a warm spring day and the Mr. Fox resting by the water's edge.
|
![]() _DSC5089_0.jpg There is nothing better than napping on a warm spring day in the sun shine.
|
![]() _DSC5078.jpg On a sunny warm spring day nothing beats a nap in the soft grass by the water's edge. This was my first shot of the afternoon and I almost missed him laying there but knowing the area I knew there shouldn't be a big patch of red there so I took a shot and zoomed in. He woke up and continued to lay there watching the Canada Geese that were nearby. Then he got up and stretched and walked off into the brush.

![]() DSC04540.jpg After getting his fill of water he moved into a hunting mode. He did find something but I missed his big leap into the air to catch it.
|
![]() DSC04533_2.jpg This is a 100% crop of the photo Fox At Water Hold. It is amazing to find this type of photo at a wetland surrounded by metro Omaha.
|
![]() DSC04533.jpg I was taking photos of a Great Blue Heron when I heard a lot of duck chatter behind me. When I turned around this guy was drinking at the edge of the pond.

![]() _DSC8225.jpg I've been looking for these for 2 years! |
![]() _DSC8154.jpg There were four of them out playing. |
![]() _DSC8135.jpg Keeping an eye on me. |
![]() _DSC8184.jpg Got an itch. |
![]() _DSC8181.jpg If you look real close you can find all four kids. |
![]() _DSC8398.jpg About an hour of standing, and I got a picture. |
![]() _DSC8228.jpg Still like looking at my find. |
![]() DSC03067.jpg With the snow yesterday and the cold temperature today, I was out taking pictures of the snow fall when this guy came out onto the ice. Only got one good picture of him.
