further down Route 66 you get to Oatman, at one time a ghost town but now brought back to life
with 500 + residents a wild assortment of crafts people, traders and gunfighters. a gunfight broke out just 5 minutes
after we arrived in town. grizzly guys in dusters held up a tourist bus, terrorizing everyone on board and then they ended up just shooting the hell out of each other ... not with real bullets of course!
just beyond the mighty wild beasts pictured here is the Oatman Hotel where Clark Gable and Carole Lombard spent their wedding night in the honeymoon suite ....allegedly.
