2008 Manx Grand Prix

Images from the delayed (due to bad weather) G4S Senior Classic race on 25th August 2008 and the Senior, Lightweight and Ultra Lightweight races on Saturday 30th August (postponed from the Friday due to adverse weather).

The senior classic race was photographed at The Gooseneck, the Senior race in Ramsey and the Ultra Lightweight and Lightweight races at Ballaugh Bridge.

This reminds me glorious days. I drove my first TT on isle of Man on a Velocette Thruxton 500 single that was build for me by Geoff Dodkin in 1969.
Jus a pitty that shots of the engines from stripped bikes are not shown here. A Manx, a Thruxton, AJS boy racer, BSA Gold Star and similar engines are hughe things to take on a shot.
