In less than ideal weather conditions (it had been fine the week before), we spent two days in Oban with every intention of catching a ferry to the Isle of Staffa to see Fingal's Cave. Unfortunately the rough seas caused that trip to be cancelled, but we queued in the rain for ferry tickets to visit Iona via the Isle of Mull. It was all beautiful of course, and the rain cleared, but there was no further opportunity for us to visit Staffa.
