We drove through the Swiss National Park and along the beautiful Engadine Valley to the ski resort of St Moritz. Here we were rewarded with an unseasonal heavy snowfall which created Christmas card pictures, but obliterated some of the landscape scenery. I guess it was the novelty value, but I loved it and sat up at night to watch the snowflakes drifting past the street lights outside our hotel window.
