When we stopped near Hearst castle we not only saw beautiful landscapes, but we also got to see a lot of elephant seals sunning themselves on the beach.
They were very cute.
They liked to throw sand on top of themselves.
I wonder if it was for warmth or coolness...

As we drove North, there was a large bank of clouds that hovered just off shore.
It was beautiful to approach.
