thanks for the comment today on my Cropping diary. This is a perfect example of what I was thinking about. The portrait orientation gives this subject the simplicity it needs by only capture this window and the woman it it. The rule of thirds keeps it from being static, and the woman has more emphasis than she would with a lanscape or square crop. Nice image. I can imagine it would look cool in b&w as well.
