Baby Hummer

I was working this morning when I heard hummingbirds outside in the tree. I went out and saw this little guy sitting on a branch. I thought that perhaps it was a juvenile as the adults rarely sit so long, and it is that time of year. I watched him for a while and then low and behold, along comes mama! It was great to watch them and capture a few portraits. I hope that you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed watching them!


BTW I'm working on replacing these photos with closer crops. Please be patient as I can only do a few a day! Check back to see better crops as the days go by!

Does anyone know how to get rid of the purple halo in some of the images?
