This is a shot of the focus screen (FS) and the FS retaining spring as reflected in the camera's main mirror. The two white arrows point to the catch levers that hold the spring and hence the FS in place. You press inwards on the lever then downwards then pull that side of the spring forward. Repeat for the other side.
