Miniature Beetle, Guapiles

Everything in this country is blown out of proportions... I never saw crocodiles, birds, iguanas, fish, flowers etc. of such enormous sizes as in Costa Rica ! Now, here we have this beetle ?!

Hello Eldar. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, it was super that you included the hand in this shot, to understand the scope and scale of this bombastic beetle. With a little Pizen Beer, a side order of Costa Rican chile beans and some hot sauce, you could have quite a special and satisfying lunch. A votre santé. Ciao, Michael.

It is Jurassic Park indeed, no wonder when ambient temperature is around 30 degree Celcius and everything grows to unbelievable extend !

What a stud! From what I understand, they are pretty much sweethearts - just, not to other males. Her hand was absolutely necessary; I would have thought it half the size, as in the Southwest of the United States. A fine image Eldar - g
