Incas Baths, Sacred Valley

Located 7km from Cusco at 3,750 meters above sea level, this site was popularly known as the "Inca's Baths". Researchers believe Tambomachay was an important center of worship of water. It is an archaeological complex made up of well-crafted canals, walls and windows which show the Incas' extraordinary architectural talents and their in-depth knowledge of hydraulics.

Actually it was one goddam rock casting the shadows all over the place, so underworld clouds did not play any role in spoilting an image... And, yes, whoever saw me bathing on these sacred grounds, would never have goosebumps entirely gone from the skin....

Such a haunting shot, Eldar... the way the shadow from the clouds above casts its evil footprint over these ancient stones, one can not help but get that eery, goosebumps kind of feeling. Yes it is easy to see that this is your kind of place. Ciao, Michael.
