This nobble wine coming from the heart of Toscana region, though is a bit expensive at $14 CND, yet absolute delight and worth every penny. This wine has very heavy body, dark ruby gamma, excellent nose with aromas of cherries and dried plums, yet when you sip it comes with unexpected bouquet of oak and blueberries accompanied with the hints of smoked hickory ! That day Pussi was totally on our side during the degustation, and also approved the main dish such as dried tomato gnocchi under spicy Sicilian wild plums sause and fried pieces of marinated rock hen, holy macros !
