I learned very important thing about chianties after "familiarising" myself with all sorts of them,-unless you pay very hefty price,-you won't get decent quality booze... This Ruffino was light bodied, with hints of blueberries and vanilla, but just the hints... and maybe touch of oak barrels... Certainly not for $24 CND bucks ! There are better chianties and will disclose them further in this epical gallery ! That dinner was saved by mind blowing "cock de vin" served with fried rice balls stuffed with wild mushrooms, as well as to-die-for delicious Russian salad and Mexican roasted with chieves & onion beans, holy macaroni !
