Being a Muslim, I guess I got to this gallery a bit late. We don't have these in our houses in NWFP. We have these...http://www.pbase.com/image/79210731

If it is a real one,...that will do !
Saw a russian guy doing this once with a bottle of champagne in Abu Dhabi,..that's why...

I have to admit that I completely forgot about this fine tradition, but, it's so great to have a real friends reminding you who you're supposed to be ! So, I have few samurai swords in household and from now on I'll be using them for solely this purpose, hopefully this meets your approval as substitute for the sabre ?!

What happened to the old russian habbit of opening a bottle with their sable ??
Don't like beer with sediment ;-)))

Actually I am using my buttocks for bottles of beer and my middle finger to push cork inside the bottle of wine... Dentures get in use when I work on car problems...
Hodero20-Dec-2006 21:05
Don't tell me you take out your set of dentures for this purpose ;-)))

I shall , certainly, confrim that there are some visions coming up after cork is popped out as environment becomes unscrewed, but usually I cannot see any light coming through the bottom of the bottle until it's empty... Do you know any recipe to make all these miraculous effects lasting longer ?

Hello Eldar. To me this is a photo that exists within the most natural of all lights ... one that I personally can readily relate to. It is symbolic of folks like myself, and perhaps you too, who have both popped their corks in a colorful way, as they find their environment screwed on way too tightly. And so, with the cork removed, with all the true colors of their world showing, there is the great soothing sounds and visions of relief. À votre bonne santé, mon amigo! Michael.
