Pulke Wagon is Leaving Hacienda, Yucatan

Temperature; +31C Wind; 1.8 m/sec Rain; None

The Indian tribe of Toltec were first who learnt in 8th century how to make pulke out of Agaves . Pulke is a fermented juice, viscous, little bit foamy, of milk color and spirits 4% up to 6% content. For a long time pulke was the only Mexican alcohol beverage. When European technologies of making spirits came to New World, a new product called mescal made of sweet Agaves juice was produced in 1521. Don Pedro Sanchez de Tagli is regarded to be the father of tequila, as he opened the first tequila factory in 1600.

And I thought Jose Quivero was the father of tequila. What does a Muslim know about these things? Never made it to Yucatan. Looks great.
