Hello Eldar. This is a most hauntingly brilliant work which connects and explains some of the historical dots which ultimately led to the Holocaust. The intense religious zealotry of Portugal's John III (Joao III) and his well known persecution against Jewish merchants of the early 1500s, a continuation and expansion of the Spanish Inquistion, was indeed a model and a precursor to the villainous deeds of Hitler, Eichmann, Goebbels, Himmler and their ilk. Your fiery, yet gloomy rendition of this photo connecting German industrial precision to an intensely darkened sky, serves us all as a reminder of man's infinite, and historically demonstrated, ability to be monstrously cruel towards our fellow man. It is difficult to view this photo and reading your comments without weeping.... this work pierces both my soul and my flesh .......... directly and irrevocably to my inner core..... and Eldar, O learned one, I thank you for that.
