2nd Place in Prints B Assigned

Judge's Comments:
This image at first had a lot going for it. Nice capture of the cranes lifting off with the snow geese in the foreground to help tell the story. Bosque grasses in the background to complement the cranes and the cranes are high enough to not intersect with the geese. All great. Closer inspection shows details falling apart in the cranes. Large crop? Not quite sharp. The leading bird is the sharpest. Some odd blurring around the geese on the edges. Excellent effort, just not quite there yet.
