Typically, Lomo photographers will take color slide film (E6) and have it processed as standard 35mm film (C41). This results in over saturation of colors and at times some freaky results. All of which make Lomo as special as they are. Here are my first attempts at mimicking the Lomo effect in photoshop thanks to a tutorial http://digital-photography-school.com/blog/how-to-make-digital-photos-look-like-lomo-photography/ CLICK on thumbnail for larger image.

Nice use of the lomo effect. You coaxed some interesting colors and burns out of these shots. I had a hard time picking out favorites, but the standouts are the field, road, hotel front door, and shrimp boats. Most thought provoking - the catfish with a knife through his head.
My favorite is the John Deere tractor and the old truck. The historical sign and church window sign also came out extremely well. I clearly don't know what the criteria is for Lomo , but I know what I like. These four have a deeper color impact, I think. Keep up the good work.
