If this bird was seen at the Kirby Storter Boardwalk in the Big Cypress National Preserve, it undoubtedly is an American Crow. Did you hear it call? The crows at that particular place have a very strange call, somewhat intermediate between Fish Crow & American Crow -- if that's possible!
