I noticed this morning that there would be a fashion show in Federation Square and thought I should try a shoot.

I managed to position myself halfway down the catwalk with the start to my right and the media at the end to my right. The sun was to my left shining straight on the models faces as they walked down.

I decided to use my 24-70 and 580ex for the shoot. I shot in shutter priority mode as the light varied and I wanted minimum DOF for I set the max sync speed of 200. I used the stofen on my 580 and pointed it straight ahead as I wanted to soften any shadows from the sun.

The post work was limited to some highlight recovery, vibrance and saturation in LR.
