The cherry blossoms were very early this year (like the whole vegetation about a month earlier that last year - see my From Dusk Till Dawn gallery for shots of the same tree last year). But ridiculously, just ahead of the official start of spring, there was a strong relapse of winter. We even had some snow, the first since November! When I took this image a strong wind was blowing and it was really as cold and unspringlike as it could be. Probably also our annual cherry blossom party will fall victim to this weather, because when the conditions finally will alow a picnic again, the petals will all have fallen down already....
