Decay

Vienna, Austria

This image was taken in Vienna's most prominent ruin, a former ballroom and concert hall, which burnt down fice years ago. Due to legal disputes, it is still in the same condition as immedately after the fire.
See more images of that building in the gallery Last Waltz.

Very interesting and sad at the same time. . It is still so colorful. I can imagine the dancing. This is beautifully composed. Love the sense of depth and the textures and graphics.

In a city where music & grand ballrooms should be spoken of in one breath this saddens me.... I too hope there is more...infact a gallery dedicated to it would be wonderful

After the ball, what do we have? A decay and lonely mind? Very nice one. Love it. Big V
