Pedestrians Crossing!

Cairo, Egypt

So far I found Cairo a pretty safe city. Only crossing streets is something that needs getting used to. It takes quite some courage to step on a five-lane street like this. These signs most certainly are no help at all.

Now that is one cool crosswalk. And as Adalberto said, I wouldn't be surprised to find a few people who were hit severely while making that trek across the street. Fine work, Eckhart.
