a.k.a "The Fukushima Project"
It was a special wish of the curator of Music Unlimited XXV, Peter Brötzmann, to organize a charity concert for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan on March 11, 2011. For that purpose, the Chicago Tentet, one of Brötzmann's main bands of the past decade or so, invited four Japanese musicians to play with them for one set of approximately 20 minutes each. It turmed out to be a highlight of this festival, which certainly was not short of highlights.
