My previous comment was for the bird in the upper part of the picture. Concerning the bird walking on the sea surface, the plumage is complete but seems to be very dark, almost sooty black: juvenile Monteiro's Storm-petrel, or the colour is due to the light conditions when the photo was taken?

more likely to be a Monteiro's than a Madeiran Storm-petrel, due to its slender bill and its tail which remains forked despite being fanned.
