One of only 5 operational Class B Climax geared locomotives in America. Built by the Climax Locomotive Works, of Curry, Pennsylvania, between 1888 and 1928. The company produced over a thousand locomotives during that period. This locomotive was built in 1921 on shop number 1603. It has worked the White Mountain area hauling for the Woodstock Lumber Co., the Beebe River Railroad and the East Branch & Lincoln Railroad. In 1952 it was purchased by the Clark Traiding Post to operate as the White Mountain Central Railroad in North Woodstock, New Hampshire.
Recently the boiler was replaced with a brand new one that was fabricated in Canada by the Boiler Smith LTD of Seaforth, Ontario, Canada.
