Kagurazaka is a popular shopping and entertainment district in Tokyo, Japan. It runs across the typical hilly Tokyo topography and is a largely an area of fine grain development. Recently the building of more and more highrise office and apartment buildings around the area has threatened to erase the area's interesting character, which comprises of richly interwoven programs and spaces connected by unexpected alleyways.
