Tsumeb or Berg Aukas ?

Descloizite from Tsumeb covered by mimetite and smithsonite according to the label. Overall specimen size 6 x 4,5 x 4 cm. I bought this specimen 2002 from a norwegian collector of minerals from Tsumeb.

....I would say that this one is from Berg Aukas. Descloizite does come from Tsumeb but all the ones that I have seen have been coatings of small to minute xls and grains on tennantite.

....In the old days, 30 to 40 years ago, it was common for minerals from other locations in Nambia and South Africa to be mixed up in lots. I never have seen a Tsumeb specimen like this one although I have seen these from Berg Aukas. Anything is possible with Tsumeb, however.
