This is the first image I publish with my new "birthday present"... Before you ask, it is not a magic Ring, but the Canon 24-105mm IS USM.
It costs a fortune so I hope it will be money well spent: you'll tell me that! :)
I just played with it for one day only, so I still have to understand its full potential... So far I'm impressed.
Unfortunately I have not Photoshop installed on my laptop, so post processing is not the usual I recently did that gives far superior results in term of sharpness, color management and crispness. I will re-process it when I manage to install it :)

Having said that, I had plenty of time to spare in Stansted yesterday, as I was caught in the middle of air controller strike in Italy (f*****ing italians ;) ) and all flights were cancelled.
I (and my son) were lucky to have a flight to Turin in the evening arriving home (after a long drive in the night) at 1:15am this morning... It has been a looooong day, being awake before 4am on the 22nd.
In the meantime I got some nice shot I will share with you in the next few days and I have been told off by Stansted security because apparently you cannot take picture of security CCTV (I was doing it for my Thematic-->Big Brother gallery).
