The Uyghur are Turkic people of Central Asia. Today Uyghurs live primarily in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. What a beautiful and thoughtful gallery. I have a couple of friends who spent a lot of time in Urumchi and their stories of thier travels there were amazing.
