From San Diego, we headed North on I-5, cutting off to go to Sequoia National Park. We stayed in the park at Wuksachi Lodge. The next day we took a tour of the park, a very good way to see it and to learn of these spectacular giants. Our guide was Paul, owner of the tour company. It seems his whole life has been spent in and around Sequoia and he was a great guide. We saw Morro rock, the Tunnel Tree, and General Sherman, world's largest tree.
