Ravenna, Italy

Our second stop was in Ravenna, Italy. We docked but the port is out from the town, so busses into the old town. Frankly, there was not much to see in Ravenna. it was very hot and little shade. We did find a nice place for lunch on the main square.

Ravenna is terribly hot in summer, but it's a pity that you did not found a guide that will make known the splendid churches with Byzantine mosaics, included by UNESCO on the World Heritage List.
