Our first stop was Koper, Slovenia. we were able to walk into town from the ship. The old town was walled and had a central plaza. We wandered the streets and were about to go back to the ship when we found a large open-air market just outside the city walls. It was very nice and we enjoyed seeing what they had to offer. The kids played in the playground and later, Ian got his shirt wet so had to take it off. He was pretty dirty and looked like a street waif.
