We did all the proper tourist things in Dublin. We did a pub crawl in Temple Bar, saw the Book of Kells, took boat ride on the Liffy, walked Grafton Street, etc. Leaving Dublin, we stopped at Powers Court and their lovely gardens the headed to Kilkenny, where we took a walk through town and a tour of the wonderful castle. From Kilkenny to the Rock of Cashel then Blarney Castle. A stay at the beautiful Sheen Falls Lodge was followed by a trip around the Ring of Kerry. The next day we went onto the Dingle Peninsula. A ferry ride across the River Shannon got us to the Cliffs of Moher. Our final stop was the wonderful Ashford Castle and the tiny town of Cong, where the film "The Quiet Man" was made.
