This is a Jackdaw size bird. The first five photos in this gallery were taken Wednesday, the last five photos were taken Tuesday.
Having found them on the Tuesday I went back on the Wednesday and got a lot closer resulting in better quality shots. At first I thought they were robbing the Bee-eaters nests, but watching them I realised that they were searching for a nest hole for themselves. So hopefully they will nest there and I will be able to get shots of the young.
