Friedlich mündet am Abend des 27. April 2001 die Verzasca bei Tenero in den Lago Maggiore. Nichts deutet darauf hin, dass in den reissenden Fluten dieses Flusses schon manches Menschenleben ausgelöscht wurde. Diese Aufnahme entstand auf dem Gelände des Campingplatzes Campofelice. Zu sehen ist der Anfang von "Bolle di Magadino": ein seltenes Naturschutzgebiet mit reichhaltiger Flora und Fauna, welches sich bis an den Dorfrand von Magadino erstreckt. Diese Biotope sind von gesamteuropäischer Bedeutung.

The "Bolle of Magadino" is a rare nature refuge with a rich plant and animal life in unforgettable surroundings. A path leads through this untouched swamp area extending from the Verzasca river outlet via the Ticino river delta almost all the way to the Magadino village limit. This biotope is of continental significance, ant it can be seen in all phases of development. I took this picture from the campground Campofelice.
