Hello, this is Sande’s daughter Ruth. It’s been years and may be more that someone comments on this, but I can’t tell you how happy I felt today when Colin showed me this. It is wonderful to hear such kind words about my mother, and from people I knew and loved. I try to be as loving as she was daily. I miss her much, but God is good.

Great job you’re doing her proud.

For those I don't know or could not make the services. Sande’s ashes were spread in the Gulf as she requested. If you visit Galveston, Texas and wish to go to the spot here are simple directions.

At Sea Wall go West (turn right) to 16 mile road (past Jamaica Beach) turn left to beach, turn left go roughly 75 yards.
GPS: Reading 29*10.32 N 094*58.54 W

Sande, you have always been in our hearts and prayers and now we know that you are out of pain and are with Ruth and your mom and dad and Jack. You will be there to guide and continue to love Ruth. We will continue to pray and love Betty, Walt, and Jack and pray especially for Ruth to find happiness and hope I can share in helping her. You have left alot of love spread all around and you'll always be on our minds. We feel blessed just to have known you.

Very saddened to learn of Sande's passing. Have fond memories of her growing up in Guntersville and Houston. Out thoughts and prayers are with Walt, Betty, and Jackie.
