Olympus XA in Natrona, PA

The Olympus XA of 1979 was a compact pocketable 35mm camera of high capability.
It featured rangefinder focusing and an electronically controlled aperture priority shutter.
The f:2.8 / 35mm lens was crisp.
The A11 was automatic vaiable output and removable.

Mid July of 2011 I took a couple of these cameras on a walking tour of Natrona, my old hometown in Pennsylvania. My, how things have changed over the decades.

Film was ASA 200 print fuilm from Walgreens.

Some nice pics of Natrona...they certainly reflect some of the places that once were the hub of the community but are now remnants of what they once were. There are some buildings, homes, etc. that are trying to preserve the "old" Natrona...just harder to find.

Ed, These are great pictures !!! And, I want you to know that I found a nice black frame for the Old Crest Theatre picture that my son Seth bought from you in Wichita.
