Temperature out there in the 'teens at best.
Looking into my backyard, through double pane glass.
Camera: Pentax K10 D, with rather old manual focus lens, Spiratone Telephoto Plura-Coat, f/6.3 in 400mm length.
With the K10 Digital, yields magnification like a 600mm lens for 35mm film.
Birds were about 60 feet away.
Camera and lens handheld.
ASA set to 800.
Captured between f/6.3 and f/8 in Aperture Priority mode, shutter speed in neighborhood of 1/400 second.
I cropped the images a bit in software.
Finch, and Missouri Bluebird, out seeking some food on a cold sunny day.
