Sunday midday I was able to get away for a few hours.
I headed off to the Museum of Transportation with one of my Pentax K110 D bodies.
I love this camera, despite its shortcomings.
Sensor is 6.1 megapixels. The auto focus is broken on this example, so I use it with manual focus only. There is no image stabilization, but I have a steady hand.
The K110 D does accept large capacity SD cards. I had this one loaded with a 16 mb card, at 6.1 megapixel that means it can store thousands of shots.
And I was able to crank the sensor up to 3200 ASA for interior shots, with acceptable quality.
The first 7 or so images here were with a Spiratone Curvatar front auxiliary lens, mounted to the 18 to 55mm zoom. I was happy with those results.
All images were hand held, available light, and as I said, manually focused.
It got a bit warm, but it was still a great day to be at the Museum.
