I found this lens a few days ago at the antique mall for $9.00
Glass was relatively good, and everything functioned.
The range is 28 to 80 mm, and it is fairly fast at f/3.5.
It has a macro setting, easy to switch into.
Focus is exclusively manual, no autofocus coupling. That does not bother me.

After I cleaned it up I mounted it to a Pentax K100 D body to give it a test.
Did not leave home, started in the back yard, then to the front gardens, and then back to the back yard.

It was really hot out there!

Everything was hand held shooting. Sharpness was okay. There was some inconsistency in image contrast, but I was able to even that out in software.
I also did a little cropping on some of the closeups.

Lens and body are ready for more testing.
