On trip to Wichita, I stopped in to look around the old downtown area of Sweet Springs, Missouri, between Columbia and Kansas City.
Not much happening there these days.
Camera was Pentax ME loaded with ASA 200 print film, SMC-M f:1.7 / 50mm lens.
Sweet Springs, MO. Folks had a gift for naming towns in those days. Great signs...particularly the downhill Whistle Stop cafe. Wonder if the grain elevators
are the raison d'etre for Sweet Springs today? Good eye Ed.

Some real vintage views there! Glad you stopped. Wish the Pit Stop was open and close by, ice cream cone sounds great right now.
