Springfield Illinois 0907

Last weekend I had business in Springfield again.
Friday evening I walked around downtown at dinnertime.
During the daytime I was at the Botanical Gardens for my art show.

These were shot with a Pentax MV body (aperture priority) and a Ricoh f:1.4 / 50 mm lens (fast).
Film was store-brand generic asa 200 for color prints.

Ed: Nice work with the Pentax MV, thanks for sharing you photos with us. On Monday, I received an Ansco Memar made by Agfa in Germany and loaded it with 200 Kroger Supermarket film that was made in Italy. I've collected Argus cameras for 3 years now and have turned to Ziess Ikon, Voightlander and Agfa. My latest Argus was a V-100 made by Ilona in Germany in 1960, for Argus, just before they were purchased by Agfa. Nice piece of craftsmanship that V-100. Keep on clicking Pal, and remember that 35mm film will be made as long as there are movie theaters and disposible cameras. Regards, Charlis

As usual, you've done terrific job, and I personally like the reflection of courthouse or state capital building in the windows. I was born in Tuscola, and moved to Springfield and lived not far from there and went to White Grade School, so these shots are indeed terrific. Thanks for sharing. BTW. Camera is boxed and ready to ship south tomorrow. Thanks for your part in that Ed.

I love the picture of Mary, Abe and Tad on the way to dinner at SubWay. Also, nice work on the night scene and reflections. Shucks, nice work (as usual) on all of the scenes. Thanks for sharing.
