I was in Springfield to exhibit paintings at the Old Capitol Art Fair.
The Fair is held outdoors on the walks and in the streets surrounding the Old Capitol Building (red dome),
which served as the Illinois State House from 1840 until 1870.
This was the building where Abe lincoln worked as a state legislator.

Wide shots of downtown skyline were from my hotel a few blocks to the north,
the rest of the images were captured from the area where I set up my display.
