This Argus C4 came to be from online auction, described as "broken."
The main camshaft spring was unhooked and sprung, the focus was, the rangefinder calibration off, and the lens barrel misaligned for proper focus range.
But it was one of the most pristine C4 bodies I had ever seen, cosmetically.

I did general cleaning, rehooked the internal spring, removed and reinstalled the body's lens barrel mount, relubed the hellicles, cleaned finder components insde the top, recalibrated the rangefinder.
When I was done, the controls were all exceptionally smooth.

Loaded with asa 200 Konica Minolta Centuria asa 200, it got a film test at the St.Louis Zoo.
Lens was good and sharp, but did exhibit flare in many frames. I may either replace the glass, or disassemble for internal lens cleaning, before thinking of using this camera again.
