Well today certainly was welcome, after three months of cold and dismal. The sun shone around a few light clouds and the temperature climbed into the seventies.

I headed out early afternoon with a Pentax K100 D with broken autofocus and 18 - 55 mm lens. Manual focus worked just fine, and that "kit" lens does a good job on closeups.
Everything was hand held.

First few images were in our front yard on the way to the car, remainder were along the trails at Claire Gempp Davidson conservation area on Sappington Road.
