Late Autumn Lens Test

I was given a Sigma KA Mount auto focus 28 - 80 mm zoom, pretty much new condition in the box.
Today was a beautiful day, and I went out to test the lens with my Pentax K100 D digital body.
Main location was Pleasant Valley Nature Preserve, which was Girl Scout Camp Hi-Di-Ho some years ago.
I thought the lens was mostly "acceptable," but I do not think it is as as sharp as my Pentax made zoom lenses.
Macro shot of the moss and fungi shows some problems when wide open in Macro mode.

Ed, Like 7 w/o horse and 8. Expect they could be very colorful with Spring flowering or with Fall leaves. Thanks, Ron

Great day for a hike in the woods. Views 01 and 08 are very nice photographs (I appreciate paths with gentle curves). Great texture in the super closeups.
